Soldi ai Partiti is an attempt to visualize the flow of public and private funds to Italian parties in the last 20 years.
In the last 20 years the Italian parties have received more than 5 billions euros. These is money coming from italian citizens. The biggest slice of this money is the public funding given as electoral reimbursements, but at lease 1.9 billions euros arrive from almost 29,000 donations from private citizens, companies, foundations and other organizations.
This project is the result of a collaboration with Wired Italy which is also providing all the data available in the form of an opendata database freely downloadable.
